And so it begins...

 I've been thinking about starting a blog for a while now and have talked myself out of it several times.  I kept thinking that I didn't have anything interesting to write about and I didn't want to be a cyber-failure if no one read it.  Then I realized that that was one of those self-defeating thoughts that has stopped me from doing so many of the things I have wanted to do in my life.  Who cares if no one reads my blog?!  I love the freedom that comes from transferring my thoughts into words.  And I love knowing that there are people who may end up reading this who may actually hold me accountable to some of my crazy thoughts that end up in writing.  I also realized that with all of the things that I have going on in my life, of course I will always have something interesting to write about.  There is always something happening,  a challenge to overcome, an occasion to rise to or a milestone to celebrate. And as hard as it may seem when I am right in the thick of it, these are the moments that are making my life and I am choosing to celebrate them all!
